Job Title: Occupational Therapist 2

Location: Syracuse, NY

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekend Requirement: One weekend per month

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered rehabilitation services in both acute care and outpatient settings. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, administer therapeutic interventions, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to improve patient function and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Establish measurable patient goals and monitor progress

• Administer occupational therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, patients, and families regarding patient care

• Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports

• Participate in clinical rounds, conferences, and interdisciplinary meetings

• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home programs

• Maintain therapy equipment and supplies

• Assist with staff education and training programs as needed

• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy

• Active New York State Occupational Therapy License or eligibility for licensure

• Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience

• Acute Care experience (non-acute inpatient rehab)

• Outpatient Occupational Therapy experience

• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills

• Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Neuro Rehabilitation experience

• Concussion Rehabilitation experience

• Outpatient Neurological Therapy experience
