Job Summary
Grady Health System is seeking a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality speech therapy services across inpatient and outpatient settings. This role is ideal for clinicians who are passionate about delivering patient-centered care and improving communication, swallowing, and cognitive outcomes within a dynamic healthcare environment.
The Speech-Language Pathologist practices within the scope of the Georgia State Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Licensing Act , collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans that promote optimal functional outcomes.
In this role, the Speech-Language Pathologist plans, implements, and evaluates speech-language pathology interventions for patients referred to the Speech Therapy Department at Grady. Care is provided to a diverse patient population across the lifespan-including neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients -while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and supporting coordinated patient care.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and therapeutic interventions for inpatient and outpatient populations
- Provide treatment for patients across multiple age groups , including neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and optimize patient care plans
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans using evidence-based clinical practices
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
- Maintain compliance with Georgia licensure requirements, departmental policies, and quality standards
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Licensed or license-eligible as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of Georgia , with proof of Georgia licensure required at the commencement of employment
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one (1) year of experience in a teaching hospital or academic medical center
