Desired Qualifications:

• Previous paraprofessional experience in school settings, ideally supporting K-12 students
• Demonstrated success working with students who display aggressive behaviors
• Ability to remain calm and compassionate in challenging situations
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Understanding of classroom routines and the ability to follow teacher instructions closely
• Commitment to contributing positively to the educational team onsite

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students under the supervision of teaching staff
• Assist in implementing individualized behavior and academic plans
• Help create a safe and welcoming classroom environment for all learners
• Support students during classroom activities, transitions, and interactions with peers
• Assist in documenting student progress and incidents as directed
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professionalism
