Plan and provide nursing care for patients, including developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with the care team. Perform nursing diagnoses related to medical and emotional status and recommend treatment options. Administer psychotropic medications and other prescribed treatments; monitor responses and adverse effects. Consult with psychiatrists and behavioral health staff to design appropriate, patient‑centered treatment plans. Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and patients; monitor vital signs and assess pain; document all findings and responses in the medical record.
