PRESIDENT, PRODUCT INNOVATION | Technology-Enabled B2B Platform Bay Area preferred | Open to remote U.S. | 30–40% travel required About the Company A high-growth, technology-enabled B2B platform is seeking a President, Product Innovation to own and scale one of its core business segments. Backed by a well-capitalized global parent with a multi-year growth investment mandate, this business is redefining how innovative companies source and deliver complex physical products at scale. The company operates globally and serves some of the world's most forward-thinking engineering and product teams — from early-stage startups to large enterprises — across high-growth verticals where speed, quality, and supply certainty determine who wins. This is a rare opportunity to own a $200M+ business with a clear mandate: scale it to $500M+ and establish this platform as the default partner for the next generation of product builders. The Role The President, Product Innovation is a full general management role with P&L ownership, segment strategy, and commercial accountability for the company's fastest-growing customer segment — companies actively developing and scaling physical products. You will report directly to the President & CEO and sit on the executive leadership team, partnering closely with the Chief Revenue Officer, Chief Digital Product Officer, and Chief Technology Officer to drive aggressive, compounding growth while building the team, platform, and operational infrastructure to sustain it. This is not a VP of Sales role. This is not a product role. This is a business ownership role — and we are looking for someone who has been in that seat before and wants to be in it again at a much larger scale. What You'll Own Own and Scale the Business Full P&L ownership with a mandate to grow a $200M+ segment aggressively — targeting ~40%+ annual growth and Rule of 40 performance over a 3–5 year horizon. You set the pace. You own the outcomes. Define the Market Strategy Own segment strategy end-to-end: ideal customer profile, competitive positioning, and where the business wins and why. Build and maintain a strong POV on the market, the competition, and the customer — and use it to make fast, high-quality decisions. Expand the Platform Scale digital sourcing capabilities from self-serve to enterprise and expand the product offering across multiple sourcing categories. Identify where the platform needs to grow to win larger, longer-term programs and drive those investments alongside product and technology leadership. Win and Grow Production Programs Drive meaningful growth in $1M–$10M+ customer programs. Move customers from first transaction to long-term production partner. Improve conversion from early-stage engagement to scaled, repeatable programs. Own Pricing and Commercial Strategy Lead pricing strategy and execution. Build pricing discipline and a center of excellence that improves margin, competitive positioning, and customer value simultaneously. Build and Lead a High-Performance Organization Lead and scale a ~150-person organization. Assess, upgrade, and develop the leadership bench. Build a culture defined by speed, accountability, experimentation, and customer obsession. A Note on the CRO / President Structure The CRO owns how the company sells — pipeline, sales motion, and marketing. The President, Product Innovation owns what the company sells and the outcomes it delivers: offering strategy, pricing, margin, segment P&L, and customer success at scale. The right candidate will be energized by this structure — comfortable driving strategy, holding a strong market POV, and influencing go-to-market execution without directly owning the entire sales motion. Who We're Looking For You've run a real business — owned a $100M–$300M+ P&L in a high-growth environment and know what it takes to scale, not just operate. You've scaled fast — operated in a 30%+ growth environment and built the systems, teams, and frameworks that let a business grow without breaking. You understand complex B2B customers — technical, fast-moving buyers who are unforgiving of partners who can't keep up. You move between digital and enterprise — self-serve growth and multi-million dollar strategic programs aren't separate motions to you; they're a funnel. You're a builder, not an optimizer — energized by creating a market position, a team, a category. You have strong commercial instincts — you think in margin, conversion, LTV, and cost-to-serve. You lead through credibility and urgency — high say:do ratio, A+ teams, accountability without bureaucracy. Experience Profile 15+ years of progressive commercial, general management, or business leadership experience Proven P&L ownership of a $100M+ business in a high-growth environment Background in technology-enabled B2B platforms, industrial technology, engineering-facing services, supply chain, or adjacent markets Track record of scaling at 30%+ growth — not inheriting a stable business Experience across both digital/self-serve and enterprise/strategic account models Comfort in post-acquisition, integration, or platform-transformation environments strongly preferred Experience building and upgrading a large, high-performance team U.S.-based; Bay Area preferred but not required What We're Not Looking For Pure product leaders without commercial P&L accountability Industrial operators with strong execution but limited growth experience Consensus-driven leaders who need full organizational alignment before making a decision #J-18808-Ljbffr Confidential Company
