Organization: CVICU Cohort 90. Job Summary: Assist with the delivery of patient care and maintenance of unit environmental standards under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

We are seeking compassionate, patient-focused Care Partners (Nursing Assistants) to provide hands‑on patient care and support clinical procedures, including blood draws, Foley catheter care, specimen collection, and other bedside responsibilities.

Schedule: Night Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, Full‑time, three 12‑hour shifts per week. Rotating schedule based on unit staffing needs. Set schedules are not available. All employees, including Night Shift and PRN staff, must attend daytime orientation during their first week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent experience) and one of the following: Current enrollment in an RN program with successful completion of the first semester and nursing fundamentals clinical; Graduation from a Nursing Assistant/Aide Training Program within the past year (certificate required).
• At least 1 year of recent experience (within the last 2 years) as a Care Partner, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician.
• Preferred: Previous hospital experience; Flexible availability; Strong communication and teamwork skills; Professional, reliable, and patient‑centered approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery of patient care and maintenance of unit environmental standards under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assist with day‑to‑day delivery of patient care.
• Facilitate efficient and safe patient care and flow by following work area standards.
• Serve as a liaison for communication and education of patient and family needs.
• Support unit operations and patient flow by maintaining supplies, equipment, and unit environmental standards.
