IOP Phlebotomu Specialist

Job Location Phlebotomist – Suwanee, GA. Work Schedule Monday – Friday, 8:15 am – 5:15 pm with a 1‑hour lunch break and rotating Saturdays. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses. Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as required. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of a certified training program. Six months or more experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications Two years or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification must be obtained from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Phlebotomists may also be eligible to participate in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
