Radiology Technologist - Mammography

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day Shift: 4x10-Hour (08:00 - 18:00)

We are seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist specializing in Mammography. This role involves performing a variety of mammography procedures including screening and diagnostic exams, as well as biopsy and needle localization procedures. The candidate should be proficient with digital mammography and the Hologic equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct mammography exams - screening and diagnostic
• Perform stereotactic biopsy and fine needle aspiration (if required)
• Manage patient flow and maintain patient safety
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures
• Ensure accurate capture and documentation of imaging data in the Epic charting system
• Follow standard protocols and safety regulations in all procedures

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in mammography
• ARRT certification required
• Valid State Compact License must be in hand at submission
• Previous experience with PACS and charting systems preferred
• Experience in outpatient and diagnostic mammography settings is a plus
