Support the academic success and well-being of students as a paraprofessional in an educational setting near Cottage Grove, MN. This per diem opportunity focuses on providing valuable assistance to both students and teachers during Extended School Year (ESY) placements. Work alongside existing staff to enhance the learning environment and make a positive difference every day.

Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar student support capacity.
• Familiarity with school environments and working with diverse student populations.
• Ability to assist with classroom management and student engagement.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Adaptable to changing classroom needs and capable of collaborating effectively with teachers and staff.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support ESY programming by assisting current staff with instructional and non-instructional duties.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students, helping them stay on task and better access the curriculum.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and encouraging classroom atmosphere.
• Assist teachers in preparing materials, organizing activities, and handling administrative tasks as assigned.
• Observe and report student progress, concerns, or needs to supervising staff as appropriate.
