Security Guard PositionPleasant View, part of Lutheran Life Communities, is hiring a Security Guard to keep our overnight campus safe, respond to emergencies, and handle nightly facility upkeep during the shift.What You'll DoMonitor building security systems and conduct regular rounds of the interior and exterior of the campusRespond immediately to 911 calls, direct emergency personnel, and manage crowd control during incidentsInvestigate and document incidents such as theft, criminal activity, or threatening behavior, and keep accurate logs and reportsHandle nightly environmental services tasks, including mopping, operating floor machines, and emptying trashComplete basic maintenance tasks as assignedBuild positive relationships with residents, visitors, and team members through a professional, welcoming presenceWhat You'll NeedRequired:18 years of age or olderAble to speak, read, and write legibly in EnglishAble to perform physical tasks including mopping, operating floor equipment, and lifting and moving trashPreferred:Prior security experiencePrior janitorial, housekeeping, or general maintenance experiencePay and Benefits$18.25/hour to start; credit given for relevant experienceSchedule PRN, overnight shift, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
