Job DescriptionJob Summary:Lead and grow a high-performing S&P team for a large life sciences client. Work directly with S&P leadership, Account leadership and client to manage expectations and team deliverables. This includes accountability for effectively managing, mentoring, recruiting, and developing a team of world-class Sourcing and Procurement professionals.Provide impactful leadership in a cross-functional and collaborative environment to drive immediate and sustained benefits to our client and JLL. Drive results through S&P program implementation, monitoring progress, managing to operational excellence guideline, AND meeting account level KPIs and goals.Develop and deliver total supply chain strategy and solutions - including innovative category, sourcing, and vendor strategies, supplier performance and relationship management, oversee compliance and controls, and identify opportunities for improvement. Proactively manage internal and external expectations by understanding business needs and priorities. Achieves Financial and Compliance ResultsOversight of annual sourcing plan development, actively managing that plan with the business, and executing against it. This includes an Annual Benchmarking of existing 3rd Party Contractor spend against external data points to help drive decision-making on sourcing plan.Identify risks and opportunities to clients/stakeholders and recommend strategies to achieve company goals while mitigating risk.Own sourcing compliance and controls, including, but not limited to, Contract and COI compliance, RFx/Process Improvements, Diverse Spend, and adherence to Procurement Playbook. Identify and share opportunities for improvement with appropriate functional leaders.Manage 3rd Party Supplier Performance Management Program, including collaboration with operations teams to develop scorecard through survey and CMMS metrics, sharing results and reviewing with select 3rd Party Subcontractors via QBR process, and delivering a quarterly report to Operations Teams and Client.Ensure all sourcing technology tools and subject matter experts are leveraged across all assigned accounts.Partner teams closely with operations by providing management, detailed instruction and follow up to support the operations teams in standardized RFP/bid and contracting processes.Develop and maintain systematic, analytical, and results-based method for savings, monitoring supplier’s performance, sourcing effectiveness and communicate these results to the business.Develop and Lead High Performing TeamsRecruit, develop, rotate, and retain top S&P talent.Support the career development of key roles through mentoring and visible leadership.Create high-performing, integrated sourcing teams that are committed to delivering sustainable operational excellence.Manage and coach teams on their performance, progress and developmental goals including analyzing strengths, and areas of opportunity for growth into actionable career development plans.As an S&P leader, foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture within and outside of direct reports.Establishes and Nurtures Strong RelationshipsEnsure the vision and strategy of the client sourcing plan are implemented and aligned with necessary objectives.Lead and participate in client meetings /strategy sessions.Establish and maintain relationships with Account Director and other client leadership.Provide strategic vision for all S&P aspects of business including best practices and innovation.Effectively develop and lead complex short-term and longer-term sourcing strategies, effectively manage suppliers and internal networks to deliver best in class performance across the associated accounts.Establish relationships with key stakeholders including Corporate Legal and Risk Management to ensure all contractual terms and conditions comply with standard or other contract changes are formally reviewed and approved by legal/risk management.Continually manage/assess suppliers through the established supplier performance management program.Competencies For RoleInfluential leadership – persuasive and instills confidence among stakeholders across any form of communication.Collaborative approach – works effectively across a complex matrix organization with a team and firm-first orientation; team with constituents who vary in approach and style to achieve results.Company and Industry Knowledge – Demonstrated understanding of JLL Work Dynamics, the Real Estate industry, competitive landscape, and specific industries as applicable.Communication and Presentation Skills – Ability to persuasively engage internal and client stakeholders via formal and informal conversations/presentations to achieve Vertical goals.Client Centric – Ability to lead with a focus on client needs to create and deliver on solutions expectations by every measure and are valuable to the client and JLLNegotiation Skills – Ability to bridge differences to deliver win-win agreements by understanding our value, positions, and points of flexibility.Transformational leadership – leads change with energy and resilience to propel the business forward; has the courage to make difficult decisions and take calculated risks; adjusts style to accommodate individuals and the various phases of growth.Strategic and critical thinking – exhibits strong levels of insight and has a reputation as a forward thinkerJob Requirements Preferred8+ years of strategic sourcing experience for services or indirect categories related to facilities services highly desired along with people management experience. Bachelor’s Degree – Business or Supply Chain Management preferred. MBA, a plus CPM, CPSM or CPSD certification preferred. Excellent PC skills, proficient in MS applications - Excel, Word & PowerPoint E-procurement experience, preferably Jaggaer. Willingness to travel within the U.S. (approximately 25%)Location: REMOTE based in the United States This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
