Logistics Coordinator

Our client, an elevated childrenswear apparel manufacturer is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team in NYC!

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor shipments.
- Track orders, shipments, and delivery timelines.
- Communicate with vendors, freight partners, warehouses, and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate shipment and logistics records
- Assist with shipping and import/export documentation.
- Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate delays or issues.
- Help coordinate receiving and delivery activities with warehouse partners.
- Address shipping discrepancies and other logistics-related issues.
- Support vendor and retailer compliance requirements.
- Assist with inventory and order reconciliation as needed.
- Maintain relationships with logistics and transportation partners.
- Provide regular updates and reporting to internal teams.
- Support general supply chain and logistics initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience.
- Apparel, retail, wholesale, or consumer goods experience a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience coordinating domestic and/or international shipments.
- Familiarity with shipping documentation and import/export processes.
- Comfortable working with Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with ERP, EDI, or other logistics systems a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Travel as needed.
Salary: $70,000k-$75,000k commensurate with experience
Hybrid, 4 days on site
