This position plays a critical role in driving growth, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a culture of accountability and compassion.ResponsibilitiesProvide overall leadership and direction for hospice operationsEnsure compliance with CMS Hospice Conditions of Participation (42 CFR Part 418) and applicable state licensing regulationsMaintain survey readiness and uphold quality and documentation standardsOversee budgeting, financial performance, and operational sustainabilityLead and develop interdisciplinary teams, ensuring appropriate staffing and competency standardsOversee the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) process and Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) programSupport census growth through community partnerships and referral developmentPromote a culture of compassion, professionalism, and accountabilityEnsure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, emergency preparedness, and infection control standardsUtilize electronic medical record systems and operational data to guide decision-makingPerform other duties as assignedDisclaimer:This description reflects the general nature and level of work for the Executive Director of Hospice.
