Ultrasound Technologist

Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist where you'll use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer
• BLS Certification
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Abdomen (RDMS-AB) via ARDMS
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Breast (RDMS-BR) via ARDMS
• Experience in a hospital setting covering all areas and ages

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Weekend requirement: 1 shift every other weekend
• Call requirement: 1 12-hour call per week and 1 24-hour call every other weekend
• Charting system: Epic
• Equipment used: Philips Epiq
• Average daily volume: 6-8 scans/studies per day
• Common studies include general ultrasound, including thyroid, abdomen, and pelvis
• No floating required
