Job Summary:

Beacon Rehab & Nursing Center, a patient-centered care facility in Queens, New York, is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our dedicated team. Job Responsibilities:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), your primary responsibility will be to ensure the highest level of care for our residents. Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Director of Nursing (DON) in directing the day-to-day operations of the nursing activities
• Oversighting and serving as a resource to direct care staff
• Providing direct patient care when necessary and/or assigned
• Protecting residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations
• Documenting resident care services by charting in patient and department records
• Promoting continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs

Requirements:

• Valid Practical Nurse license and certification in the state of NY
