Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring an active OH or compact license and a minimum of 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience.

Details

• Large academic medical center hospital setting in Cleveland, OH
• Med/Surg Telemetry unit with potential to float to other units (J1-2, J33) and the ED for the same patient population
• Rotating day/night schedule: days 7:00am–7:30pm and nights 7:00pm–7:30am
• 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Shift rotation may be required to meet the operational needs of the facility

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent (non-travel) experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
• Minimum 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience (travel experience accepted for this requirement)
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are administered during orientation; a passing score on both is required
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday
• Travelers are limited to 18 consecutive months across any Cleveland Clinic location; a minimum 6-month break is required before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
