**Join Our Dynamic Labor and Delivery Team!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery - **Shifts:** Night shifts, 3x12 hour (5:00 PM - 5:30 AM) - **Experience:** Minimum 2 years required; preference for 3 years - **Certifications:** - Required: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP - Preferred: AWHONN Advanced - **Charting System:** Epic - **Trauma Level:** II experience preferred - **Float Requirement:** Yes (Post Partum) - **Call Requirement:** Yes - **Weekend Shifts:** Based on unit needs - **Pre-Approved Time Off:** 1 request allowed - **Orientation Hours:** 36 hours - **Patient Age Groups:** Neonates, Adolescents, Adults **Key Responsibilities:** - **Labor and Delivery Management:** - Assist with high-risk deliveries and vaginal deliveries - Circulate for C-sections and assist with forceps/vacuum extraction - Manage postpartum care and complications - **Newborn Care:** - Perform APGAR scoring and neonatal resuscitation - Conduct newborn assessments and cord care - **Administration of Care:** - IV therapy including phlebotomy and maintaining central lines - Administer medications such as Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and antihypertensives - **Professional Skills:** - Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy and Pharmacy - Utilize fetal monitoring techniques and provide emergency care for both adults and infants - **Commitment to Excellence:** - Engage in continuous learning and adhere to baby-friendly protocols - Support breastfeeding and discharge teaching for new parents **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
