Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI scanner which produces several cross-sectional scans and combines them into one to form a 3-dimensional image for Radiologists viewing.
• Consistently obtain high quality imaging for Radiologist interpretation.
• General understanding of PACS (Picture Archive Communication System) and its function.
• Responsible for maintaining safety for anyone within the MRI zones.
• Documents patient care services in hospital records.
• Able to interact compassionately and effectively with the sick or injured.
• Courteous interaction with co-workers/peers.

Requirements:

• Education: Associate's Degree Required
• Licensure(s): ARRT certified Radiography & State of Maine Radiography
• Certification(s): ARRT MRI certified preferred
• Registration(s): ARRT Radiography
