Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Repair Technician to join our team in Peekskill, NY. If you have a passion for fixing appliances and enjoy solving problems, this is the perfect opportunity for you! In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of household appliances, ensuring our customers' satisfaction and maintaining our reputation for quality service.

Responsibilities

Diagnose issues with household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens.
Perform repairs and maintenance on various appliance brands and models.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about the repair process and costs.
Keep accurate records of repairs, parts used, and customer interactions.
Stay updated on the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including company vehicles and tools.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while on the job.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in appliance repair is a plus.
Proven experience as an appliance repair technician or similar role.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Ability to lift heavy appliances and work in various environments.
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems related to appliances.
