Trauma experience, Stroke, strong sepsis skills.Description: The Emergency Department consists of 27 head spaces. There are a total of 52 staff members in the unit. The shift for the traveler is from 19:00 to 07:00. Day shifts include a charge nurse and three RNs with two techs. Night shifts consist of a charge nurse and three RNs with two techs. Patient ratios are typically 4:1, sometimes 5:1 based on acuity. The department uses moderate to busy equipment. The electronic medical record system utilized is Meditech. On-call requirements may include pre-scheduled shifts and additional compensation if called in. Every other weekend is required. Key skills sought in candidates include critical thinking and emergency department skills. The ideal candidate should possess a positive demeanor and be a strong team player. Candidates with experience in ER, Trauma, Pediatric ER, and Behavioral Health are preferred. Compliance with a professional dress code is expected, including royal blue scrubs. Attendance is strictly monitored, and teamwork is highly valued.
