Director of Clinical Operations

Accountabilities Establish and oversee clinical assurance frameworks, ensuring compliance with policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements. Lead the end-to-end quality function, focusing on scheduling, oversight, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide clinical leadership for coaching efforts, establishing priorities and maintaining consistency among Clinical Support Coaches. Use management information, quality outcomes, and qualitative insights to identify systemic risks, implement targeted interventions, and monitor the effects on quality and customer satisfaction. Manage a team of Clinical Delivery/SB Leads and Clinical Content Developers, enhancing capabilities, coaching leaders, and maintaining operational effectiveness. Chair and attend key governance meetings, acting as an escalation point for complex clinical issues beyond operational control and coordinating cross-functional recovery plans. Engage with external stakeholders, such as DWP, to align expectations and drive improvements in the benefit area. Experienced Disability Analyst in the relevant benefit type with consistent performance in key responsibilities. Demonstrated leadership in clinical audit and assurance functions. Proven capability in supporting and developing clinical teams or leading clinical change initiatives with successful outcomes. Experience in creating and executing action plans for improved quality and performance. Strong analytical skills, proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. Effective stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and guide proactive decision-making. Desirable: Management experience leading a multidisciplinary clinical team. Experience in a multidisciplinary environment fostering positive relationships across clinical and operational areas.
