Role Description Soapstone United Methodist Church is seeking a full-time Director of Youth Ministries to lead and develop its youth program. This on-site role, based in Raleigh, NC, involves organizing and overseeing programs that nurture the spiritual growth and faith development of middle and high school students. Responsibilities include planning and leading Bible studies, coordinating youth activities and events, building strong relationships with youth and their families, and providing pastoral care to support their spiritual and emotional needs. The Director of Youth Ministries will also collaborate with church leadership to align programs with the mission and vision of the church. Qualifications Proven experience in leading youth programs and organizing related activities Strong understanding of Bible Study and other forms of religious education Excellent communication skills to connect with youth, families, and church leadership Experience in providing pastoral care and fostering a supportive environment for spiritual growth Ability to work collaboratively and cultivate a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere Background in Christian education or ministry preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
