AI Enablement Strategist

Seeking an AI Enablement Strategist to establish and scale the operational foundation required for enterprise AI adoption across Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, CoWork, Scout, and emerging AI capabilities. This individual will serve as the bridge between business transformation, IT administration, governance, finance, and platform operations. Their mission is to create a sustainable AI service delivery model that enables innovation while maintaining strong governance, security, compliance, cost management, and operational excellence. The AI Enablement Strategist will help evolve from AI experimentation to enterprise-scale AI operations by defining standards, documenting policies, enabling new AI capabilities, managing consumption models, supporting administrators, and building the long-term operating model for agentic AI. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, hands‑on platform administration, program management, financial stewardship, and change leadership. Key Responsibilities AI Governance & Operating Model Develop and maintain the enterprise AI governance framework. Establish AI policies, standards, guardrails, and operating procedures. Partner with Security, Privacy, Compliance, Legal, and IT teams. Create governance processes for AI agents, copilots, and autonomous workflows. Define approval processes for new AI solutions and agents. Maintain inventories of AI solutions, agents, and business owners. Implement controls that balance innovation with responsible AI practices. Create strategies for Microsoft credits, token consumption, and AI budgeting. Build forecasting models for: Microsoft Fabric AI workloads CoWork and Scout consumption Implement budget controls and consumption monitoring. Define chargeback and showback models. Create executive dashboards that track: Return on investment Adoption metrics Copilot Studio & Agent Platform Strategy Develop standards for agent lifecycle management. Define agent ownership and accountability models. Agent creation Testing Publishing Monitoring Retirement Manage agent consumption budgeting and message forecasting. Assist business teams with planning and scaling agent solutions. Partner with development teams to accelerate agent deployment. AI Platform Administration Provide hands‑on administration and operational support for: Microsoft Copilot Chat Power Platform CoWork Scout Future Microsoft AI capabilities Responsibilities include: License administration Access control Capacity allocation Service health monitoring Provisioning and onboarding Consumption monitoring Lead enterprise AI enablement initiatives including: Champions networks Early adopter communities Pilot and proof‑of‑concept initiatives AI office hours Community engagement programs Responsibilities include: Building champion networks Coordinating preview feature evaluations Managing feedback loops Communicating roadmap updates Helping business units identify AI opportunities Policy, Documentation & Standards Create AI operations playbooks. Develop service catalogs for AI capabilities. Document governance policies. Build onboarding guides. Publish standards for AI usage. Define AI support and escalation models. Maintain reusable templates and frameworks. AI Center of Excellence Support Partner with leadership to establish an AI Enablement Practice that provides: Governance guidance Platform administration Agent advisory services Consumption optimization Training and enablement Operational support Serve as a trusted advisor for business leaders adopting AI capabilities. Ensure alignment with Responsible AI principles. Monitor AI risks and mitigation strategies. Track compliance requirements. Establish human oversight requirements where appropriate. AI Service Management Own AI Service Delivery Function — the AI Service Catalog and AI Operations — as Copilot, agents, CoWork, Scout, and agentic AI scale across the organization: Define and publish the catalog of available AI capabilities. Establish who can request AI capabilities, and how requests are made. Own the approval process for new AI capabilities and solutions. Define the support model for AI services. Establish incident handling and escalation procedures for AI services. Manage the intake, evaluation, and introduction of new AI capabilities. Experience with Microsoft 365 administration. Experience with Power Platform. Experience managing enterprise technology programs. Experience creating governance frameworks and operational processes. Experience working with executive stakeholders. Technical Knowledge Familiarity with: Microsoft Copilot Chat Power Platform Microsoft Fabric Identity and Access Management Security and Compliance Controls Cost Management & FinOps concepts Ideal Candidate Profile Thinks strategically but enjoys building operational processes.
