Beefbar is looking for a polished and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a warm personality, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced, upscale environment.ResponsibilitiesGreet guests warmly and provide a positive first impression of BeefbarManage reservations and walk-in guests efficientlyEscort guests to their tables and present menusCommunicate effectively with kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service flowManage waiting lists during peak hoursAnswer phone calls professionally and handle inquiriesMaintain cleanliness and organization of the reception areaAssist with special events and large party arrangementsQualificationsPrevious experience as a host in a fine dining establishment preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProfessional appearance and demeanorAbility to remain calm and courteous under pressureStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesProficient in reservation management systems, including Resy, OpenTable, and SevenRooms.Ability to stand and walk for extended periodsCapable of light lifting and carrying up to 50 poundsBenefitsComprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including:Medical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceCommuter benefitsEmployee discounts on dining at BeefbarOpportunities for professional growth and developmentEqual Opportunity StatementBeefbar is an equal opportunity employer.
