A growing real estate organization in the Northbrook area is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial properties throughout the Chicago area. This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Property Manager who enjoys taking ownership of daily operations, building strong tenant relationships, and managing properties from both an operational and financial perspective.


The Commercial Property Manager will be responsible for overseeing property performance, coordinating vendors, supporting capital projects, and partnering with ownership and internal teams to ensure properties are operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for assigned commercial properties
• Manage tenant relationships, requests, and service issues to ensure a high level of satisfaction
• Coordinate vendors, maintenance activities, inspections, and property improvements
• Review budgets, expenses, invoices, and operating performance
• Assist with capital projects and property improvement initiatives
• Conduct regular property visits throughout the city and suburbs
• Partner with ownership, accounting, and vendors to support overall asset performance

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of commercial property management experience
• Experience managing office, retail, industrial, or mixed-use properties preferred
• Strong understanding of vendor management, tenant relations, and property operations
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to travel locally to assigned properties throughout Chicago and surrounding suburbs
