TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in West Burlington, Iowa, 52655!

Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Certification, GRH CPI/MOAB Must-Have: EPIC EMR Experience in a similar unit within the last 12 months Description: Traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance. A basic dysrhythmia test will be given during the first week of the assignment. Passing the test is required to work in the telemetry/med-surg unit. Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Coordination with other health team members is essential. Effectively interacts with patients and significant others while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high-quality care to various patient populations, including geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, and telemetry. Floating to other campuses may be required at times. Traveler may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census. If called in, the traveler is expected to arrive on-site within one hour. Current patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights. Floating to non-critical care inpatient units, including the emergency department, is a requirement. Critical care experience may lead to occasional floating to critical care units. ACU requires every other weekend rotation.
