Collects and analyzes bodily fluids and substances for abnormalities, including blood samples for transfusions. Operates laboratory equipment safely and effectively. Analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits; reports and documents findings according to organizational standards. Additional requirements include: Medical Technologist licensure through ASCP or AMT preferred (licensure must reflect education requirements).
