SMT QC Inspector – 2nd Shift

Location: San Jose / Milpitas, CA
Pay: Up to $27.00 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift (Swing Shift)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented SMT QC Inspector to inspect printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and ensure products meet quality standards throughout the electronics manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection of SMT assemblies and PCBAs.
• Inspect solder joints, component placement, polarity, and workmanship.
• Identify, document, and report defects or nonconforming materials.
• Use microscopes and other inspection tools as needed.
• Follow IPC-A-610 standards and established quality procedures.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and communicate quality issues to production.

Qualifications

• Previous SMT, PCBA, or electronics inspection experience preferred.
• Knowledge of soldering defects and electronic components.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and good documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay up to $27.00 per hour, depending on experience.
• 2nd shift / swing shift.
• Full-time position.
