Schedule / Shift

3x12, Days. Travelers may be required to pick up one additional shift during the scheduled period. Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Sierra Med/Tele department, you will provide optimal patient care utilizing your knowledge and skills within the nursing process. You will be accountable for individualized patient outcomes over the entire episode of care, delivering comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including their families and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems.
• Provide optimal patient/resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Consider family and significant individuals in the assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation efforts.
• Coordinate care between other professionals as needed.

Required Experience

Must have 2+ years of Med Surg/Tele experience.

Certifications / Licensure

• NV RN license required prior to start.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Must pass a telemetry competency exam, including identifying and measuring telemetry rhythm strips.
