What You’ll Do Position Summary TheInsurance Verification Specialist (Greeter)will be an integral part of theSuvidaHealthcare team. TheInsurance VerificationSpecialistwillbe the first impression of the center to all patients, family members, and visitors. The Greeter will provide exceptional customer service and ensure all who visitSuvidaHealthcare centers are welcomed and properly attended to. The Insurance Verification Specialist will work with the center team by answering questions, managing incoming and outgoing calls, ensuring all benefits are verified, andassistingwith other clinical clerical tasks. Responsibilities Ensures the highest level of customer service possible Displays respect and concern for all patients Attends all clinic huddles and clinic monthly meetings Greets and Welcomes patients to the clinic Assistspatients to the seating area Assistspatients in wheelchair to the seating area Assistspatients with scheduling transportation to and from the clinic Ensures all insurance benefits are verified and active Collects any co-pays necessary for patient’s visit Manages phone lines by answering, taking messages, and conducting outbound calls as instructed Manages patient referrals by processing them and obtaining authorizations Assistsin scheduling appointments for patient’s referrals Updates patient information and making changes to EMR platform Other Duties as assigned What You’ll Bring Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. years progressive work experience in the healthcare industry
2. years of customer service
