Noon Monitor (3593N) Job Class: 3953N Salary Range: $19.18 hourly Appointment Type: Permanent Responsibilities Noon Monitors transport students from one destination to the next safely on school grounds Supervise students at playtime and maintain a harmonious atmosphere on the playground Organize group games and activities Supervise lunch recesses in the cafeteria and in the school yard Assist students in wellness rooms Assist in restorative conversations in response to students in crisis Walk around the yards as much as possible and take precautionary steps to help children resolve conflicts using intervention strategies, such as benching Send students to the office for medical attention or in serious discipline situations Perform other job duties as requested by site administration Minimum Qualifications Prior experience working with children/students under the supervision of a classroom teacher, site manager or school principal and at least 18 years of age.
