Essential Duties The duties specified below are representative of the range of duties assigned to the Noon Monitor/Playground Aide (3593N) and are not intended to be an inclusive or exhaustive list. As the Noon Monitor/Playground Aide, you will: Noon Monitors transport students from one destination to the next safely on school grounds Supervise students at playtime and maintain a harmonious atmosphere on the playground Organize group games and activities Supervise lunch recesses in the cafeteria and in the school yard Assist students in wellness rooms Assist in restorative conversations and in response to students in crisis Walk around the yards as much as possible and take precautionary steps to help children resolve conflicts using intervention strategies, such as benching Send students to the office for medical attention or in serious discipline situations Perform other job duties as requested by site administration Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Prior experience working with children/students under the supervision of classroom teachers, site managers or school principal What We Offer SFUSD offers a competitive salary of $19.18 hourly.
