Travel MRI Technologist - Nancy, KY

This contract assignment offers valuable hands-on experience within a 295-bed acute care environment, with advanced cardiac care and a certified Spine Center.


Schedule/Hours:

• Weekly start dates with orientation every Monday

Qualifications:

• Certification in MRI (current and valid)
• Compliance with all additional certifications as required by facility protocols
• Minimum 60-mile distance from facility required for travel candidates
• Previous experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
• Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and related technology
• Strong attention to patient safety, privacy, and infection control protocols
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic MRI scans according to physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare and position patients safely for imaging procedures
• Monitor patient condition during scans and respond to emergencies, if needed
• Maintain high standards for image quality and patient care
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in hospital systems
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other hospital staff to ensure coordinated care
• Uphold compliance with facility guidelines and professional standards
