Quality Assurance Associate

Department: Operations / Warehouse
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Associate to support receiving, inventory control, product inspection, and quality assurance reporting activities within a warehouse and distribution environment. This role is critical to ensuring inventory accuracy, product quality, customer satisfaction, and compliance with established quality management systems and operational standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and quality processes, strong attention to detail, and an understanding of regulated or quality-driven supply chain environments where documentation, traceability, and process compliance are essential.

Essential ResponsibilitiesReceiving

• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against purchase orders and packing documentation.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage, accuracy, and compliance with quality requirements.
• Accurately enter receipt data into warehouse management or enterprise resource planning systems.
• Label, identify, and package inventory in accordance with applicable handling and quality procedures.
• Maintain accurate receiving records and supporting documentation.

Inventory Management

• Conduct inventory inspections and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and support corrective action efforts.
• Ensure proper inventory identification, lot control, and traceability requirements are maintained.

Order Fulfillment

• Verify product part numbers, quantities, lot numbers, and required documentation prior to shipment.
• Support accurate order processing and fulfillment activities.
• Ensure products are properly packaged and protected for shipment.

Quality Assurance

• Perform quality inspections during receiving, storage, picking, and shipping activities.
• Verify product identification, condition, certifications, and traceability records.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, procedures, and customer requirements.
• Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials or process deviations.
• Assist with internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
• Support corrective and preventive action activities as needed.

Quality & Compliance Responsibilities

• Follow established quality management system requirements and operational procedures.
• Maintain inventory traceability and chain-of-custody documentation.
• Ensure proper handling of customer-owned, regulated, or controlled materials.
• Participate in audits, corrective action activities, and process improvement efforts.
• Maintain organized records supporting customer, operational, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.

QualificationsRequired

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, fulfillment, or related operations.
• Experience with receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and experience using inventory or warehouse systems.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping documentation and inventory records.

Preferred

• Experience working within quality-driven, regulated, manufacturing, aerospace, defense, electronics, medical device, or similar environments.
• Knowledge of inventory traceability and quality documentation requirements.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Understanding of cycle counting and inventory control best practices.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and conditions.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
