Quality Control Final Inspector - Amesbury, MA area.

Our client is seeking a Quality Control Final Inspector to perform final inspections of precision electronic and packaging products.

SUMMARY:
In this role, you will perform visual and minor mechanical inspections to ensure that every part, assembly, and system we produce meets strict quality and compliance standards. Your inspections will directly contribute to product reliability, customer satisfaction, and the company’s reputation for excellence.

The duties and responsibilities:
- Perform inspections of assemblies, and systems to verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.

- Perform visual workmanship inspection using microscope.

- Perform minor mechanical inspections to engineering requirements.

- Record inspection results, document non-conformances, and support corrective action processes.

- Work with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and recommend process improvements.

- Conduct incoming and final inspections to ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements.

The Skills and abilities: 

- Use of precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators.

-  Ability to perform visual inspection utilizing a microscope for extended periods of time.

-  Basic computer skills such as file access and editing word or excel files.

The key requirements:  

- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems.

- Strong attention to detail.

-  Effective communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

- Proficient in visual workmanship and minor mechanical inspection within manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or industrial equipment sectors.
Pay rate range, $28.00/hr to $32.00/hr.
