CT Technologist- Part-Time Day

Overview CT Tech at Providence Milwaukie Hospital in Milwaukie, OR. Part-Time/Day Shift – Saturday and Sunday from 8am-8:30pm and Monday from 8am-4:30pm $4,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment – this is in addition to the benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment. The CT Tech performs CT examinations according to physicians orders, utilizing sophisticated CT equipment, taking into account individual patients’ special or age-related needs. Uses knowledge and judgment regarding imaging factors, imaging technique and patient treatment needed to produce optimal images. Responsibilities Investigate and perform CT examinations as ordered by physicians, using appropriate imaging techniques and equipment. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance with imaging procedures. Communicate imaging needs and findings to the radiology team as appropriate. Qualifications Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. Upon hire: Oregon Medical Imaging License from Oregon State Board. Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology. Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography or Within 1 year of hire: National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
