Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Description

Job Summary:
The Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, high-quality patient care within a hospital setting, focusing on monitoring and managing cardiac patients and those in medical-surgical units. This role involves collaborating with healthcare teams to assess and respond to patient needs promptly.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' clinical conditions through continuous monitoring and evaluation.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols.
• Communicate critical information, including cardiac findings and diagnostic results, to physicians and team members.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health management.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care activities and patient responses.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid and current state RN license.
• Possess current BLS (AHA or Red Cross) certification.
• Hold a current ACLS (AHA or Red Cross) certification.
• Have a minimum of 1 year of recent acute care hospital experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech EMR preferred.
• Capable of floating to units of competency as needed.
