Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
• Ensure every guest receives warm, attentive, and professional service
• Maintain a visible leadership presence on the floor throughout service
• Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns promptly and professionally
• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Manage service flow, pacing, reservations, floor plans, and table turns
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels across all shifts
• Recruit, onboard, train, schedule, coach, and supervise front-of-house employees
• Mentor team members and reinforce consistent service and hospitality standards
• Build a positive, respectful, team-oriented, and accountable workplace culture
• Partner closely with culinary leadership to ensure seamless front- and back-of-house execution
• Assist with liquor and beverage inventory, ordering, controls, and product rotation
• Support budgeting, labor management, cost controls, and overall restaurant profitability
• Monitor sales, labor, and operating metrics to help achieve financial goals
• Handle cash management, POS reporting, and daily administrative responsibilities
• Utilize POS systems and restaurant management technology for scheduling, payroll information, sales reporting, inventory, and operational tasks
• Maintain proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and relevant restaurant management software
• Ensure dining rooms, bars, service stations, and guest-facing areas remain clean, organized, and polished
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, bartenders, support staff, and management
• Support menu launches, seasonal changes, promotions, and staff education
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and health department regulations
• Uphold company service standards, hospitality expectations, culture, and policies
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support successful restaurant operations

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant management experience in a full-service, high-volume environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-development skills
• Proven ability to manage restaurant operations in a fast-paced environment
• Strong guest-service and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with scheduling, labor management, inventory, and cost controls
• Comfortable working with POS systems, Microsoft Office, and restaurant management technology
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences
