Title
Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Schedule
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- Holidays: Expected to work 1-2 major holidays

Assignment Details
- Capacity: 12 beds
- Ratio: 1:4

Requirements
- RN licensure (GA or Compact license required)
- BLS, ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred; 1st-time travelers accepted.
- Experience in telemetry/PCU/step-down or intermediate medical-surgical care

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced telemetry setting.
- Monitor patients on hardwire telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias.
- Manage cardiac drips (no titration) and administer blood products.
- Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and administer non-invasive airway support as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record.

Compliance / Notes
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
- Core items/labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing.
- RTO must be finalized at submission; maximum of 7 days allowed.
- Non-billable orientation hours vary by contract length.
- Return-traveler/internal rules apply when applicable.
