Automated Assembly Machine

Job Title: Automated Assembly Machine Operator-{170314} Location: Mebane, NC 27302 Pay: $20.50/hr. Schedule: Sun-Thurs | 11:00pm-7:30am (Overtime as needed) Overview We’re hiring an Automated Assembly Machine Operator to operate and monitor automated assembly equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll support routine production functions such as assembling, packaging/packing, labeling, and inspection while following established procedures and meeting quality, safety, and productivity requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail and accurate documentation practices in alignment with FDA requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and ISO 9000 standards. Key Responsibilities Set up, start, operate, and monitor automated assembly machines per SOPs Load components/materials; verify correct parts/labels and machine settings for each work order Perform in-process checks and visual inspections; identify and separate nonconforming materials Complete production records, logs, and batch documentation accurately and on time Maintain clean/organized work area; perform routine equipment cleaning per GMP and safety practices Escalate equipment malfunctions, process deviations, and quality concerns to leadership; assist with basic troubleshooting (within scope) Follow all safety, housekeeping, and quality policies; wear required PPE Rotate across tasks/workstations and support coworkers as assigned Required Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Prior manufacturing/production experience in a machine-paced environment (required) Ability to read, write, and follow instructions/specs in English Basic math skills Reliable attendance and punctuality; ability to work extended hours/OT as needed Keywords Machine Operator, Assembly Operator, Automated Assembly, Production Operator, Manufacturing, Packaging, Labeling, Inspection, GMP, FDA, ISO 9000, Batch Records, SOP, Third Shift, Overnight Shift, Mebane NC
