Our Employee Value Proposition reflects our commitment to our people and the careers they build with us.With us, you can:Collaborate openly with multidisciplinary teams that value diverse perspectives and inclusive teamworkStay curious by working on complex environmental challenges that encourage innovation and continuous learningBe passionate about meaningful work that delivers real‑world impact for clients and communitiesBe adaptable and shape a career path supported by flexibility, mentorship, and global opportunitiesAt WSP, you’ll be empowered to do the work the world needs—supported by a people‑first culture that prioritizes professional growth, well‑being, and long‑term success.Your ImpactIdentify and develop new clients for WSP’s environmental business through internal and external networking.Manage environmental projects involving site characterization, remedial design, and environmental compliance, ensuring deliverables, schedules, and budgets are achieved.Perform field work for site characterization and remediation projects, including oversight of subcontractors and sampling of soil, soil vapor, sediment, surface water, and groundwater in accordance with state and federal regulations and accepted protocols.Conduct data analysis and reporting for environmental project tasks with minimal supervision; recommend remedial solutions using accepted scientific and engineering practices.Provide technical review to ensure compliance with environmental laws, company standards, contract requirements, and specifications.Travel to project sites primarily within Texas and occasionally across the mountain states of the West; minimal overnight travel required.Develop and maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and high‑quality service delivery.Mentor and train junior staff, supporting their professional development and preparing project teams for expanded responsibilities.Manage and coordinate project teams, ensuring the technical quality of deliverablesCollaborate and participate in technical discussions with internal teams.Support business development efforts in the public and private sectors.Manage proposal preparation, including innovative technical approaches, competitive pricing, and client presentations.Manage technical, budgetary, and schedule performance to achieve client satisfaction and repeat business.Exercise responsible and ethical decision‑making in accordance with WSP’s Code of Conduct and company policies.Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needsWho You AreRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related fieldPG or PE required (Texas registration preferred)10+ years of progressively responsible experienceStrong background providing environmental consulting services to industrial/commercial, mining, energy, and government clientsProven experience with growing existing client portfolio’s and developing new client opportunities. Demonstrated expertise with federal, state, and local environmental regulations, including TRRPProven experience with environmental site investigations, remediation, field management, and sampling programsProject management experience including oversight of deliverables, schedules, and budgetsSelf‑starter with strong teamwork skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilitiesProficiency with standard software tools including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPointAbility to travel primarily within Texas with occasional travel to western mountain states; minimal overnight travelMust pass a background check and maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company’s MVR policy.Preferred Qualification Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field#LI-AB2About WSPWSP USA is the U.S. operating company of WSP, one of the world's leading engineering and professional services firms.
