Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)

Join our team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) at a hospital in Hyannis, MA. Use specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Perform patient preparation, image acquisition, basic image review for technical quality, assist physicians with procedures including biopsies, maintain accurate records, and support department operations and education. Provide patient-centered care that aligns with departmental policies and safety procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARDMS credentialing required. Registered in Abdomen and OB/GYN by ARDMS.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology.
• BLS certification. All certifications and registrations must be maintained, active and current.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Experience performing general abdominal and OB/GYN sonography and assisting with special ultrasound procedures/needle biopsies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a hospital radiology department.
• Experience instructing clinical or didactic ultrasound education.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0900-2100.
• Schedule pattern: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts.
• Travel assignment at a hospital in Hyannis, MA.
