Pharmacy Technician - Shipping Clerk - 2nd Shift: 11:30AM to 8:00PM EST

~ $7.50 Shift Differential for hours after 5:30pm EST

Join a fast-paced, patient-focused pharmacy operations team where precision and care make a direct impact. In this role, you will prepare and coordinate medication orders for delivery to both clinics and patients' homes, including temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals requiring specialized packaging and handling .

You will play a critical role in ensuring timely, accurate deliveries by collaborating with pharmacy staff, clinical liaisons, and shipping carriers . This position offers the opportunity to grow within pharmacy operations, with the potential to participate in a Pharmacy Technician Training Program upon endorsement from the Pharmacy Manager.

• Verify prescription accuracy by ensuring RX orders match medications listed on delivery tickets
• Process prescription transactions through POS systems and collect appropriate payment methods
• Prepare and package medications using compliant, temperature-controlled, and protective shipping materials
• Enter shipment details into systems such as UPS WorldShip and Dynamex with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Track and monitor shipments to ensure successful and timely delivery
• Investigate delivery discrepancies and proactively communicate resolutions with internal teams
• Collaborate with staff to clarify and improve incomplete or inaccurate delivery documentation
• Organize and stage packages based on delivery method (carrier, clinic transfer, patient shipment, etc.)
• Transport clinic-administered medications to other on-site pharmacies as needed
• Support additional pharmacy operations duties as assigned

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills , including professional phone etiquette
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies
• Ability to analyze, extract, and interpret data efficiently
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize in a high-volume environment

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience: 0–12 months of relevant experience (pharmacy, healthcare, logistics, or fulfillment experience preferred)
• Licensure/Certification: State of Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License (required); National Certification (preferred)
