Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Emergency Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Meet expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Obtain and record initial assessment and establish priorities according to patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
• Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and trends that require intervention.
• Develop and implement a measurable individualized plan of care for the patient within the time frame established by Nursing Standards of Care.
• Participate in patient/significant other health education and discharge planning.
• Perform various Point of Care testing procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
• Current knowledge and skills appropriate to age/type of patient population served.
• Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients' rights in the delivery of care.
• Communicate in a clear, concise manner appropriate to the developmental age of the patient.
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC Certifications required; CPI or Equivalent preferred.
