Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license, active and in good standing
- Experience providing OT services in school settings
- Familiarity with early intervention and elementary student needs
- Comfort designing and implementing IEP-driven treatment plans
- Strong documentation and progress monitoring skills
- Excellent communication with parents, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for advocating for each child’s success
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to early intervention and elementary caseloads
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ functional needs and strengths
- Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to embed therapeutic strategies into classroom routines
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Support students’ participation and independence in both academic and social settings
