Key Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state or eligibility to obtain
Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
Strong understanding of early intervention strategies and elementary educational settings
Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers
Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Commitment to fostering inclusion and supporting students at varied developmental stages

Primary Responsibilities:

Assess students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans to promote independence, participation, and meeting educational goals
Deliver direct therapy to students with a wide range of physical, sensory, cognitive, and emotional needs within early childhood and elementary caseloads
Document progress and maintain detailed records in alignment with school and compliance standards
Support and consult with teachers and staff on strategies to integrate therapeutic recommendations into the classroom
Collaborate with families to support goal-setting, progress monitoring, and home generalization of skills
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams to advocate for students’ needs
