Summary of Position: The Facility Technician performs building and preventative maintenance of the assigned district. Qualifications & Requirements:

- Performs building maintenance of the assigned district.
- Experience with maintenance of commercial and industrial buildings.
- Hands on knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing of a commercial/industrial facility with emphasis on HVAC.
- Performs plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc. repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Ability to coordinate and work with subcontractors and the performance of preventative maintenance around the facility.
- Maintains building site(s) in accordance with relevant regulations, safety codes, and environmental concerns.
- Able to track, prioritize and finish projects in a timely manner with the direction of the District Facilities Manager.
- Works with the District Facilities Manager to schedule daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly maintenance activities.
- Conducts and documents regular facilities inspections, overhead cranes, fire, etc.
- Collaborates preventative maintenance around the district with other Facility roles.
- Communicates workplace safety precautions to vendors and employees.
- Performs or directs truck wash bay maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Performs other tasks as required by District Facilities Manager.

- Regularly operates in a highly safety-conscious environment, outdoor and indoor.
- Regularly be exposed to cold, heat, dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise.
- Requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting, carrying, reaching, etc. with arms, hands, and fingers.
- Regularly operates in a professional and/or business casual office environment.
- Routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptops, photocopiers/scanners, and smartphones.
- Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
