Job Description:

The Operating Room Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of the operating rooms, leading the nursing team, and ensuring compliance with AORN Guidelines and regulations. This role involves project management, troubleshooting, and maintaining standards of practice.

Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of Current AORN Guidelines and evidenced-based practice
• Leading results for KPI: Turnaround times and First case on time starts
• TJC and DOH survey experienced. Regulatory preparedness focused.
• New project roll-outs and sustained compliance
• Managing in a collective bargaining department
• UKG/Kronos/Workday/staff scheduling
• Provide direct care for patients in OR

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience
• Prefer CNOR
• Experience as OR leader and trauma experience
• HRO trained is an advantage
