Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in a supportive and homelike environment. Our facility provides short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and a secure dementia unit.

Located in Ashland, WI, on the scenic Chequamegon Bay of Lake Superior, our 72-bed facility typically accommodates 60-65 residents. We pride ourselves on our historical ambiance and commitment to quality care. Our community offers an array of outdoor activities, restaurants, and shopping experiences.

The work week is from Sunday to Saturday, with variable shifts available. All personnel are expected to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start of their shift. Compliance with facility protocols is essential.

Ashland, WI offers multiple amenities, including outdoor recreational activities and dining options. The facility is situated conveniently near local hotels for those traveling for work.

• Provide direct nursing care to residents with varying needs, including short-term rehabilitation and long-term care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor residents' health status and respond to changes appropriately.
• Supervise and support nursing staff and certified nursing assistants (CNA).
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.

The facility is structured into two main units:

• Focused on rehabilitation and long-term care with an RN and LPN staffing model.
• Dedicated dementia care with nursing staff available during day and evening shifts.

Current RN license in the state of Wisconsin. Experience in nursing homes or long-term care preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
