Senior Data Governance Consultant

As a hands-on role, the full-time Senior Data Governance Consultant will support clients in embedding governance and stewardship into their daily operations, focusing on executing governance activities, metadata cataloging, and applying data quality controls in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Support the design of tailored data governance programs, including recommendations on processes and team structure Facilitate data governance working groups to align business and technology stakeholders Execute metadata management activities such as cataloging and stewardship workflows Required qualifications Experience in designing and implementing data governance frameworks Knowledge of metadata management tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Atlan, Purview) Familiarity with data quality processes and compliance regulations (GDPR, CCPA) Proven ability to communicate complex governance concepts in clear business language Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and analysts
